Indian Athlete Eligibility
The Shooting League of India (SLI) will feature leading Indian athletes across rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines, bringing together Olympic medallists, international champions, national-level athletes and emerging junior talent in a franchise-based team format.
The eligibility framework for Indian athletes has been developed to ensure participation opportunities for athletes across multiple performance categories and pathways within the sport.
Eligibility for participation in the SLI shall be determined based on performances and rankings across recognised international and national competitions, including ISSF events, National Championships and NRAI-recognised programmes.
For the 2026 season, the following ISSF competitions will form part of the Indian athlete eligibility considerations:
- ISSF World Cup Shotgun – Tangier, Morocco – 25 March to 3 April 2026
- ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol – Granada, Spain – 5 to 13 April 2026
- ISSF Junior World Cup Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun – Cairo, Egypt – 19 to 27 April 2026
- ISSF World Cup Shotgun – Almaty, Kazakhstan – 2 to 11 May 2026
- ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol – Munich, Germany – 24 to 31 May 2026
- ISSF Junior World Championship – Suhl, Germany – 16 to 26 June 2026

The final list of eligible athletes and player selection process shall be determined by the SLI in consultation with the Franchises.
